How to Use Your Bushcrafter
To start a fire, hold the ferro rod in the card's holder and strike the serrated edge down its length to shower sparks onto your tinder. Use the hatchet/saw edge to shave tinder and process small branches, the knife edge for cordage and food prep, the sapper shovel for digging, and the line winder to store fishing line. The engraved sundial and distance scale give you basic navigation with no batteries. Keep the edges dry and lightly oiled between trips.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the fire starter?
Seat the included ferro rod in its holder and scrape the serrated edge firmly along it — the sparks reach about 2,000°F, enough to ignite dry tinder in any weather.
Is the ferro rod replaceable?
Yes — the rod swaps out when it wears down, and two replacement O-rings are included to keep it secured.
Is it TSA / flight-safe?
No. The Bushcrafter is a bladed survival tool, so it is not flight-safe — pack it in checked luggage, your vehicle or your bug-out bag, not your carry-on. For a fly-anywhere card choose a bladeless MRF model.
